TEXONN R coverall is compliant to CE EN Type 456.  It is suitable areas of use include forensics, pesticide and paint spraying, pharmaceutical manufacture, chemical handling and clean-ups, medical and emergency services and asbestos handling.

It offer unmatched protection against particles and liquid aerosols.  It is compliant to CE Type 456 Protective clothing against liquid chemicals, solid particulates and liquid chemicals.   It is seen from the simple test of pressing a marker against the fabric.

Protection better than SMS

The protection offered by SMS or SMMS material is mainly from the middle layers.   TEXONN protection is from the whole piece of fabric and thus results in different protection properties as seen from the marker test.  

Unlike Microporous, protection intact during work

TEXONN do not have the normal problem as in microporous materials.  Microporous materials protection is from the thin film laminated onto the non-woven backing fabric.  Once the top film is fractured during use, the protection is compromised.  TEXONN protection is from the whole piece of fabric and thus results in different protection properties as seen from the scratch + marker test.  The scratch action simulates the possible abrasion on the fabric and the market test simulates the liquid splash after the abrasion. 

Holds liquid for quite some time

TEXONN is a unique material.  It is more than a normal non-woven fabric.   It can hold liquid for relatively longer period of time without seepage or leakage compared to other non-woven fabrics.

A test was done with TEXONN holding the liquid for 180 days.  The effect is the same!
